It explains what is provided directly, what technical data is gathered automatically, how cookies and outside services work, and the limited situations in which data may be shared. Terms Entered in Search

A name, place, or other term entered in a search tool is sent to the independent provider that operates that tool. Reynolds County Released Inmates does not keep or log those query terms on its own systems. The provider’s handling of a query is controlled by its privacy terms, not by this notice.

Messages Sent to Us

An email or contact-form submission is retained as needed to read the request and send a reply. Message content and the sender’s contact details are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Technical Visit Details

Routine server, analytics, and delivery systems can record basic technical information when a page loads. This information helps show whether the site is working, how it is reached, and how visitors move between sections. The recorded details may include:

  • The Internet Protocol address associated with the request
  • The browser name and version in use
  • The device category and operating system
  • The pages opened and the time spent on them
  • The referring page or site, when supplied
  • The date and time of each request

Cookie Controls

Cookies and similar browser storage can help measure how visitors use the site and support service features. Most browsers allow a person to block, limit, or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking them may cause certain tools, preferences, measurements, or advertisements to work differently.

Purposes for Using Data

Information is used only for ordinary site operations, service delivery, measurement, and troubleshooting. Those purposes include:

  • Keeping pages available, responsive, and reliable
  • Sending a search request to the appropriate partner service
  • Understanding which Reynolds County record pages visitors find useful
  • Detecting errors, abuse, and technical faults
  • Displaying advertising that may reflect a visitor’s interests

Outside Sites and Services

Links may lead to Reynolds County release-record contacts, the Reynolds County Sheriff, Missouri courts, the Missouri Department of Corrections, parole and probation resources, federal or ICE custody tools, and independent search services. Once a visitor follows an outside link, that organization’s privacy policy and technical systems control the visit. Reynolds County Released Inmates does not set those outside practices.

Some advertising partners may use their own cookies or tracking methods to understand activity across multiple sites and select interest-based ads. That tracking occurs on the partner’s systems. Browser privacy controls and the partner’s opt-out process may limit it.

Limited Data Sharing

Personal information is not sold. Depending on the feature used and the legal circumstances, data may be received by:

  • Search partners that process a visitor’s submitted query
  • Analytics providers that measure site traffic and performance
  • Advertising networks that deliver or measure advertisements
  • Law-enforcement agencies or other government bodies acting under a valid legal order

Reasonable Security Measures

Standard administrative and technical practices are used to protect information kept by the site. Still, no website, network, email system, or storage service can be guaranteed secure in every circumstance. These measures reduce risk but do not promise that a breach, loss, misuse, or unauthorized access can never occur.

Visitors Younger Than 18

Reynolds County Released Inmates is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or legal guardian who believes a minor submitted personal information may send a deletion request. Reasonable steps will be taken to identify and remove that material from systems under the site’s control.

Privacy Choices and Requests

Subject to applicable law and the ability to verify the requester, a visitor may ask to:

  • Receive a copy of personal information held about that visitor
  • Correct personal information that is inaccurate
  • Delete personal information retained by the site
  • Opt out of certain processing where that choice is available

These requests apply only to information controlled here. Reynolds County sheriff records, Missouri court entries, MDOC records, MOVANS registrations, and federal or ICE records are held by their originating agencies. Access to Missouri public records is governed by the Missouri Sunshine Law, Chapter 610 and the rules that apply to each custodian.

Changes to This Notice

This privacy notice may be revised when site practices, service providers, or legal duties change. An updated version will be posted at this location with a new effective date. Continued use after a revision means the current notice applies to later visits.
